Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 743 (75cl)
EXTRA BRUT CUVEE 743
Each year, the Jacquesson house develops a new iteration of its 7XX cuvée. A unique way of combining the identity of a vintage and the style of the Jacquesson terroir.
The year 2015 gave birth to the Cuvée 743. The 2015 vintage was marked by a mild and rainy winter and spring. On the contrary, the following summer was very dry until mid-August. Finally the grapes are very balanced, with a very good maturity and a very present acidity. This harvest is, as usual, supplemented by a few reserve wines.
The Cuvée 743 Jacquesson is the reflection of the Jacquesson vineyard (terroirs of Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Avize and Oiry). It is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, and 60% Pinots (2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Pinot Meunier). The 743 cuvée is vinified in old casks and a few demi-muids with periods of stirring. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, and the dosage is Extra Brut (1.5g / l).
The 743 Jacquesson cuvée reveals very mature aromas, hints of fruit and a more gourmet, milky touch.
Its mouth begins with a very elegant attack, fresh but without excessive liveliness, then it unrolls fruity notes and above all a beautiful minerality.
The Cuvée 743 Jacquesson was produced in 215,330 bottles, 10,013 magnums and 302 jéroboams.
