Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 742 (millésime 2014) 75cl
Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 742 (millésime 2014) 75cl
Each year, the Maison de Champagne Jacquesson declines its cuvée 700, a non-vintage cuvée of Extra Brut Champagne. It comes from a blend of a harvest and reserve wine
Vintage:
The Jacquesson 742 vintage comes from the 2014 vintage. This vintage is characterized by a rainy but very mild winter. After a hot, dry spring and a rainy summer, the hot and sunny month of September saves the vintage.
The Chardonnays are magnificent, the Pinots Noirs and the Meuniers also of very good quality.
Grape varieties and aging:
This champagne is a blend of 41% Chardonnay and 59% Pinot (2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Pinot Meunier).
The harvest comes from the vines of Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Avize and Oiry. The dosage is Extra Brut at 1.5g / liter.
The production of the 742 vintage is 222,044 bottles, 9,902 magnums and 300 jeroboams.
Tasting:
The Jacquesson 742 cuvée from Maison Jacquesson is a complex and elegant champagne.
Eye: The bubble is very fine.
Nose: The nose evokes ripe white fruits and pastries.
Palate: In the mouth it is a mineral champagne with superb tension.
Conclusion: Here is a Champagne of great harmony and one of the best non-vintage Bruts of the year without hesitation.
