Domaine and the wine: More than 175 years of experience, love and work, have allowed the Castarède family to acquire know-how in the selection of the best productions from the Bas Armagnac, the methods of distillation and The breeding of this specially French brandy. The Castarède family owns two multicentenary wine cellars: one on the banks of the Baïse: at Pont de Bordes (Lavardac) in the Lot-et-Garonne, the cradle of wine marketing (marketing which at the time was done by waterways) . This aging cellar, a true "eco-museum", has been preserved in the same spirit as its foundation in the 19th century. It is considered by specialists as an exceptional place for aging due to the presence of this river, the Baïse, which creates remarkable isothermal conditions. It offers the best aging conditions for old vintages. The other, at Mauléon d'Armagnac, is located in the great Bas Armagnac, where the Château de Maniban, surrounded by vineyards, is planted with three varieties: the Blanche, the Colombard and the Saint-Emilion.
