The year 2002 and its Indian summer ensured an exceptional maturity of the grapes with an average harvest in volume but of a very good quality. The result is found in the Brut Millésimé 2002 cuvée from the Champagne house Ayala: a great wine made almost exclusively from Grands Crus. A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Ayala's Brut Millésimé 2002 combines the power and vinosity of the former with the elegance and finesse of the latter. This champagne gives off a beautiful aromatic complexity with a pleasant touch of freshness and notes of honey, acacia and chestnut. The mouth is structured and powerful but without any heaviness. This wine is a delicious balance between a sumptuous nose, a masterful mouth and a beautiful vintage.
