THE MOUTH

One has the sensation of entering a wave: a satiny texture rolls and unfolds on the palate, kisses and caresses. A moment of weightlessness and the wine recedes, the finish is vibrant, the taste buds are excited by a controlled heat. The length is remarkable, with just enough bitterness (citrus zest and buds).

THE NOSE

The initial notes of fresh almonds and grapefruit gradually give way to cashews and spices, complemented by lightly toasted brioche.

THE 1998 HARVESTS

The viticultural season was marked by extreme conditions, rare grapes, sunburned, a particularly hot August, and gray, rainy weather during the first two weeks of September. But we delayed the harvest to take advantage of the beautiful weather that followed. This decision made the vintage. When the harvest started on September 21st, the grapes were ripe and in perfect health.
