Grappa is the oldest and most traditional northern Italian brandy. It is obtained from the distillation of the solid parts of the grape: the marc.

On December 1, 1973, Benito and Giannola Nonino created Monovitigno Nonino, the first monovarietal grappa made from the distillation of Picolit grapes. This is how they revolutionized the methods of production, introduction and packaging of grappa, both in Italy and in the rest of the world.
