Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 1999 (75cl)
Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 1999 (75cl)
Champagne
Fascinated by the aromatic expression diversity of Pinot Noir grape in Champagne, Louis Roederer
decides to elaborate his Vintage Brut on the structure and the power of the Pinots Noirs of the Mountain
of Reims, where the vineyards, exposed to the North-East North, are slower to ripen and give wines
sometimes rough and closed at the beginning of the breeding but whose personality is refined and intensifies
remarkably with undergrowth and time. In 1850 he decided to buy more than 15
hectares in the grand cru of Verzenay to better control the development of the grapes of this wine.

Tasting & keeping
Eye: Yellow with slightly amber hints, typical of Pinot Noir.
Nose: Subtle bouquet of citrus zest (orange), dried fruit (nutty) with warm and fruity notes typical of Pinot Noir, a high proportion of which has been raised in wood. In the bustle, notes of candied fruit and maturity take the wine in a rich and complex aromatic whirlwind: baked apple, toast, tarte Tatin, caramel, ...
Palate: The palate is typical of Louis Roederer vintages: a broad and deep attack; a vinous and rich roundness refined by the sweetness, the tight weave and the acidity of the Verzenay Pinots Noirs. The whole is perfectly integrated with a frame of an almost feminine elegance! Throughout the tasting, appear sweet and shimmering evocations of candied fruit, frangipane, toast and white chocolate / caramel.
