This tawny is a blend of red wines produced from different harvests with an average age of 10 years. Its body and its richness of flavors transport us to the place of its production, the “Quinta de Ervamoira”. It is in both mystical and biblical landscapes that this wine is extracted from shale, for your pleasure.

It is made from high quality wines from Quinta da Ervamoira, by a blend of wines produced from pickings from different years. The new wines give it vigor and freshness and the oldest, complexity and race. Its characteristic aroma and taste are the result of the “art” of the cellar master.

Ramos Pinto Port Wines are made in the Quinta do Bom Retiro winemaking center, and for the special category wines (LBV and Vintage) the grapes are still crushed in traditional presses - lagares -, because this ancestral technique allows a more efficient and less violent extraction. Once the first stages of winemaking have been completed, the wines are transferred to the historic cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, where they complete their long aging process.
