It is the wine of the founder of the Maison Ramos Pinto. This wine has conquered Brazil to such an extent that Port wine is known there as “Adriano”. It is a versatile and very pleasant wine.

Porto Adriano is a blend of 6-year-old wines. It is from 6 or 7 years that the Port wine begins to gain its red pigmentation and the nuances of Tawny begin to reveal themselves. This is the Port of the founder of the Maison Ramos Pinto. This Porto has conquered Brazil to such an extent that Port wine is known there as “Adriano”. It is a versatile and very pleasant wine.

Ramos Pinto Port Wines are made in the Quinta do Bom Retiro winemaking center, and for the special category wines (LBV and Vintage) the grapes are still crushed in traditional presses - lagares -, because this ancestral technique allows a more efficient and less violent extraction. Once the first stages of winemaking have been completed, the wines are transferred to the historic cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, where they complete their long aging process.
