Ranked 4th in Saint-Estèphe, Château Lafon-Rochet enhances the natural excellence of its terroir by preparing its conversion into biodynamics, under the leadership of BasileTesseron, whose family has owned here since 1960. The 45 hectares of 'one piece are planted with cabernet sauvignon (55%), merlot (40%) and cabernet franc, on a ridge of gravel with clay-limestone subsoil.

Vinified according to the advice of the oenologist Jean-Claude Berrouet since the 2012 vintage, the Château Lafon-Rochet wines have a significant share of Merlot for the Médoc, resulting in a rich and very aromatic profile. The fruit is pure, racy and concentrated, with a superb tannic mass and depth.
