Château Lilian-Ladouys 2011 - Cru Bourgeois
Château Lilian-Ladouys 2011 - Cru Bourgeois - Saint-Estèphe
Red wine (75cl)
Flanked by two superb towers of the 18th, Lilian-Ladouys is located south of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, facing Château Lafon-Rochet. Known under the label Ladouys since its origins in 1564, it sees its name completed in the 1980s, when it was acquired by the owner of the time, named Lilian. Since 2008, the castle belongs to the businessman Jacky Lorenzetti, also in possession of Pédesclaux in Pauillac and co-owner of Issan in Margaux. The 45-hectare vineyard is planted on a predominantly gravelly soil, except in the center of the vineyard, clay-limestone, and to the west, more sandy.
A combination of Cabernet Sauvignon (52% of the grape varieties), Merlot (43%) and Cabernet Franc, vinified in a brand new cellar, Lilian Ladouys' wine is supple and fleshy, concentrated and racy, with good potential in cellar.
