Born in the middle of the 17th century, the 2nd Classified Growth Léoville Las Cases is well known to fans for its incredible regularity and its formidable aromatic complexity. The latter is due to the mosaic of varied terroirs from which the great wine is derived: these 53 precious hectares called "Le Clos" north of Saint-Julien, contiguous to Château Latour, are indeed dedicated to the production of Cru Classé. Jean-Hubert Delon is the sole owner of the vineyard since 2011. He has entrusted the management to Pierre Graffeuille.
Made from a majority of cabernet sauvignon (64%), the wine of Léoville Las Cases still has a very dark ink color, characteristic of the vintage. Class, depth, density, but also nobility of tannins and sumptuous fruit are his great qualities, not to mention a potential of guarding almost limitless.
