The wines of Château Doisy-Daëne are great sweet wines dominated by Sémillon, famous for their freshness typical of the Barsac terroir: a thin layer of clayey sand on a compact limestone base that limits the depth of rooting of the vine at its level. ; thus, in case of drought, the plant comes there to seek the necessary water stored during the winter. The cold influence of the nearby Ciron also contributes to the freshness of the wines. The latter derive an exceptional aging potential.
